Best day that I've had in a long time

So I woke up wicked sick today and almost didn't go to work. I left early yesterday because I felt so bad. I thought today would suck.

However, between lunch time and now, I've found out that I'm being promoted to Project Engineer II (with a small raise to go with it) and I won a new Digital Camera through a photo contest that was taking place here at work.

This past week has been hell. Between breaking up with Bethany, finishing the lego robot and competing all day Saturday at WPI, and then spending the past month pretty much finishing my Marketing project (which resulted in next to no sleep last night), I'm feeling pretty burnt out.

However, I'm now single and have 3+ weeks off from both school and robotics.

What will I do with all of this free time?!

I've been worried lately about whether or not I could afford to take a class this spring. WPI, as of 20 minutes ago, hadn't returned my emails/calls regarding my possible loan options and I have no savings left thanks to le condo. As much as I'd like to not take a course while working 2 jobs and doing the high school FIRST season, I really want to just get this thing over with and taking a semester off would be stupid.

Well, lo and behold, they got back to me. I now have a Stafford Subsidized loan with my name on it for my spring course.

Sick

Currently listening to: The Killers - When you were Young

I've been sick to some degree for 8 days now. It's driving me nuts. I have a crazy allergy attack on Thanksgiving Day and managed to disrupt 3 dinners. I was also high on Benedryl and Sudafed (and WINE) by the end of the night, so, that was kinda cool.

Now I just have a cold or something. I should probably sleep more. Hah! Like that will happen anytime soon.
