I have two tiny rust spots developing above my windshield where some rocks/debris hit the car earlier and I wanted to touch it up. I looked at several car shops first to see if I could find a cheap little jar of paint, but nobody had the "brilliant black" that Audi uses. So I sucked it up and called the dealer...

Come to find out, they have a touch-up kit for only $14. It comes with a jar of the paint and clear coat as well. For $14. This will be the cheapest purchase of an item with four rings on it that I've ever made.

In other news, I also got that horrible driver-side mirror replaced today at J.N. Phillips. It only took them 3 tries to finally buy the right mirror, but this one looks good, and it's the factory direct heater one, just like the original and was covered by my insurance.
And the best part? It doesn't have the obnoxious "objects in mirror may appear larger than they really are" warning. :-)

Holy Busy Day

So today is a crazy day to return to from the 3-day weekend. I'm starting my first class for my new material science course, I'm being inducted into Trinity Lodge later tonight, and I have a phone interview for some magazine for FIRST.

Oh, yeah, and I'm probably supposed to be working in there at some point, too. ;-)
