For your reading pleasure, here is a list of items that I've bought, are planning on buying, and would like to buy in the future. Considering that I'm still very new at this, comments are greatly appreciated so that I can better improve my car and do it at the minimal cost.

AWE Center Vent Boost Guage
EVO Fresh Air Intake Kit (link takes you to the S4 page, navigate through frames to get there. sorry!)

Planning to buy soon:
HyperBoost Diverter Valves

Want to buy pre-warranty expiration:
Turbo-back or Cat-back exhaust

Want to buy after warranty expiration:
GIAC Engine Chip

Socks!

Currently watching: Enemy at the Gates

So I was at the mall last night picking up some new socks while waiting for Jim to get out of work. I found these suckers in Filene's:

These are pretty much the most bad ass socks that I have ever owned. They're also amazingly comfortable.

DONE

Currently listening to: Coheed & Cambria - God Send Conspirator

So I haven't posted in over a week. I'd say that I'm sorry, but I'm not. After many, many semi-sleepless nights, the robot is done and out the door.

I don't have any real pictures of it yet (I'll post soon), but here's a screen shot of the complete model.

And yes, for all you smart-asses out there, I know that there are no shafts in the middle of the rollers. I neglected to draw them in, so save your comments. ;)

If you can't follow what's going on with the bot, we pick up 2 balls at a time, they travel through three vertical roller assemblies, and then go through the double shooters. We can hold 20-30 balls in the assembly, and on average, we can score 95% of the balls shot. We can launch and successfully score the balls from within a few feet and up to about 3/4 of the field away (approx. 30 feet). I love this robot, I can't wait to see it compete.

The Ever Increasing Vehicular Ego of Tim Baird

Currently listening to: The sounds of a robot being built... :)

So, aside from already receiving jealous compliments from two friends who respectively own a BMW 325 and a VW GTI, this morning I was talking to my landlord; who owns a small fleet consisting of a Cadillac, a Jeep, and a Jaguar, and he told me that he was checking out my car in the lot and that he thought it was awesome and wanted to get his wife one.

booyah.

Dating, by MikeD

Currently listening to: My Chemical Romance - Give 'em Hell, kid

In an email conversation with MikeD today, the ladies man himself offered me this insightful piece of dating advice (to protect the innocent, the person in question will be denoted by "J"):

"One time J was at a bar and he tried saying hello to
some crazy hot female at the bar. She wouldn't give him the time of
day. Later on that same night, J had to take his keys out for
something. Hot girl saw his Audi key and said "Ohhh you have an
Audi!?!" and immediately started gettin' all up ons. J, being
J, shot her down; disgusted that she was only interested after
seeing his car. I would have obviously taken advantage of the
situation, as I hope you would have as well. And my recommendation
for you is flaunt those keys like it's your job."

I will admit, it has been tried already. When working out at the gym the other night, I had my keys caribeanered to my nalgene bottle and I purposely let the beautiful four-rings shine with all their glory towards the cute girl a few machines down. Glances were exchanged. So, it was either the keys alluding to the hot car in the parking lot outside or yours truly. Either way, booya.

New shirt!

Currently listening to: The Clash - Rock the Casbah

I have a new shirt. A shirt so fine that it'd make Sinatra look like a hobo.

You'd be a liar if you didn't think this was awesome.

Know what's awesome?...

Currently listening to: Reggie and the Full Effect - Thanx for Stayin

Know what's awesome? Finding out from your grandmother early in the morning before work that your mother doesn't want you to visit her.

What an ass.

Sorry if you don't know what I'm talking about. I just needed to vent.
