Why my Doctor is Awesome
Currently listening to: My Chemical Romance - You know what they do to guys like us in prison
So I've been feeling like complete crap for the past week+ and I decided to call the doctor's office this morning. Now, if you know me well, you know that I'd have to be almost dying to call. I hate going to the doctors. And not because I don't like him. He rocks, hence this post. But I'm afraid of needles. It's childish, but I know that once in a while, they like blood samples, so, I keep my distance. I'm a baby.
Anywho, prior to even discussing what was wrong with me (like anyone can even give a full answer to that question), we talked about:
1. mechanical engineering - his daughter is dating a wpi alumni and we talked about what he does and what I do at nypro
2. iPods - I had mine on and he was asking me tons of questions because he wants to buy one.
3. Tivo - he just got one free from some medical association so that he could watch medical shows at his convenience. They even pay for his subscription fee. Badass.
4. Knives - he noticed my Smith & Wesson and liked it, and then showed me his similar knife from Winchester.
Oh, also, instead of having the nurse call my name, he came out into the waiting room, looked at me, and did a double-arm point at me. It was pretty funny.
He also wears aligator skin boots.

Now that's one cool of a doctor you have! He's like the family doctor who can be your best buddy too. I guess he has a lot of cool stuff up his sleeves. Now you just need to work around your fear of needles, yes?
