Quayle in 2000
One of my coworkers and I were joking yesterday about this Ross Perot sign that he found and hung up in his cube. I mentioned that I had this Dan Quayle election campaign polo-shirt and that I should wear it the next day. (If you're confused about this and don't already know the story, Deej, Colleen, Rick, and I found The Dan Quayle Center & Museum on the side of the highway while driving back from Indiana 4 years ago)
I searched around this morning and finally found it squirrelled away in the back of my closet. Thankfully having no wrinkles and being ready to go, I put the sucker on and went to work.
I forgot how awesome it is the have people look down at the logo on your shirt and kinda make a funny face, and then ask "Is that real?", or "Did you work for him or his campaign?".
Ah, subtle comedy. This shirt is the best $20 I've ever spent.
