The saddest thing to happen to Subway since Jared
Currently listening to: Catch 22 - Chin Up
So I went to Subway today for my lunch. While I'm waiting in line to get my sub*, I happen to look over and see this piece of paper posted above the cash register down at the other end of the counter. I could read from there that it was something to do with my beloved Sub Club. My stamps. Something was about to happen to my stamps.
As I got there, I could read more carefully and see what was going down. Apparently, as of October 25, they no longer pass out the stamps. NO STAMPS. Yes, you heard me correctly. Atleast they said I can still redeem them until January 2006. Which is good, because I have almost 3 cards filled with stamps ready to go.
This kind of malarchy never went down while MikeD worked there. What is this world coming to?!
*The greatest sub in the world - Sweet Onion Chicken Terryaki on a toasted Italian Herbs & Cheese with Tomato, Lettuce, Spinach, Lots 'o Pickles, and both of the hot peppers.

People have been copying sub cards off the interweb, so subway killed it.
I always liked Sweet Onion Teryaki on wheat, with green peppers and cucumbers.
AWW MAN! I have like 12 sub club cards. I guess I'll just have to start eating more subway.
Rest assured, if I ever start working at subway again... I'll start giving out special MIKE D SUBWAY stamps. good for free subs.
