Kids
Currently listening to: The clock ticking away to the weekend...
Yesterday I borrowed the movie "kids" from my sister. I had always heard people refer to it but had never seen it in the, oh, 11 years that it's been out.
My question is this: Was your childhood like this?
Now, me personally, I never saw any of this crap growing up. I was wicked shy, a nerd by CHS's standards, never drank nor partied in HS, and didn't even have a gf till I was 17. These kids are like 14 running around having sex, smoking pot and getting drunk. One of them is having sex with a 13 year old and talking about doing it with girls even younger.
Holy crap was I sheltered growing up...

KIDS. That is an amazing movie. I like it alot. What did you think of it timmy?
As for my childhood, I drank pretty much all through HS, and was a hooligan kid. and no it wasn't a sheltered life Timmy, just different.

Overall, I thought that it was pretty good. It really did address alot of topics that were happening at the time that parents probably weren't aware of. It was definitely a 'wake up' movie and I thought in that sense it was pretty powerful.
I did, however, want to beat the crap out of Telly throughout the majority of the movie. Little shit...
